Smaller meals go a long way

It is so easy to grab a spoon and just go for it when given the opportunity. Many people use the excuse that they should not waste food. There is no reason for people to eat as much as they do. This causes obesity and other health problems that can be avoided. In my opinion, there should be a law that restricts restaurants from having such large servings.

There is a technique allows for less consumption of food. The digestive system does not recognize that there was any food consumed until fifteen minutes after eating. If a person eats slowly, they will feel full faster. Overeating is overrated and it also causes a person to feel sluggish. A meal that a person has cut down should not cause this feeling.

Taking out a small amount of food for dinner is a helpful suggestion as well. If you take out how much you think you will eat and still want more, you can always go back for more if you are still hungry. You never know how your body will react but it is best to just slow down and listen to your body. Your body will tell you everything.

  1. That is why eating out is the worst thing because they keep rushing the courses and you do not really get a chance to get full. They want to get you to order dessert before your body realizes that you are full.

  2. I tried that but cooking at home is just as dangerous. I made a dish once and put half of it away but had to take it out because it was much better than i first realized.

    1. I didn't mean that you should deprive yourself. I do know that at sometimes we are more hungry than other times. It is not bad to go back if you are actually hungry but make sure that you are actually hungry and that you have given your body enough time to at least register that you have already eaten something.
